Thursday evening and its cold in the house! Got the heater turned up but still waiting for it to warm the room up!
Got presents today from the folks!! *Yay* big bag of them – but I was very good and got Jenny from work to take the sticker off the front so I couldn't see what's inside (on international post you have to declare and state everything inside a package – sucks if it's a present!).
Spoke to Jayson again and he is doing well – 4 exams down and 3 to go – he's studying very hard and getting great results – only a little over a week till he comes home now!
Sleep is still crap – I have a acupunctuer appointment on Saturday morning though which hopefully will help to change that. Had my first dream (that I remember) on Tuesday night, was very strange – involved a house(/hut), bed, bamboo, snake, Dusty and Top Cat, a riddle and of all weird things – when I at first didn't get the riddle – an eye appearing in my hand – all very strange but very vivid and intense.
8pm and still freezing in my room – might go down and heat some food up and turn the heating up a bit more!
Had a nice evening out last night – it was Peters (RNM's graphic designer who has been there for 6 years) leaving drinks – so we all went to the pub, which was really nice as normally we are missing a few ppl, and proceeded to get slightly wasted (and on a wednesday!) ended up leaving at around 10.30 and catching the tube home – in bed just before 12! (still slept crap even drunk!)
Havn't got alot of plans for the weekend – might go down and see Sarah tomorrow night as I need to grab a disk from Grant for installing Pop's PC – acupuncture on Saturday morning and then over to pop's to finish installing his pc and that's about it! Though at the drinks last night – I managed to swipe 4 Grolsch beer bottles that have cermaic tops on them – (they are airtight) which I would like to make some homemade relish or sauce to put in them – so if I can find some nice recipies tomorrow – I will go and buy some fresh ingredients and get stuck into that on sunday I think! – well thats the plan anyway – will see how it goes!

Monday monday… oh yeah that's right – it Tuesday! *yay*
Not quite sure what I'm 'yay'ing about but oh well – least I'm not crying! *yay*
Not a lot to report really – had a nice weekend, Friday night at home and slept in until 11am (crap sleep during the night). Am beginning to wonder if my body is rebelling finally (after 2 years) to the switched sleeping habits (Aus vs UK) because i noticed that between 4am and 11am I slept really well (which is Aus evening) – maybe I need to become a night owl!
Saturday avo I went to Rita's place and pottered around, ate food, had a few drinks, then we went out around 9pm to a club in Piccadilly called 'Tiger Tiger' – we were trying to get in before the 10pm cut off (so we didn't have to pay) but after waiting in the que for over 45 minutes – that went out the window! The club wasn't too bad – bit like a meat market to be honest – I haven't been out for ages – but not the place I would choose to go really – and we were meeting Rita's friends from Touch Rugby there – but by the time we got there – they were all rather pissed. We ended up having a dance and just a few drinks each and heading for the last tube home around 12.30.
Slept in a bit on Sunday then headed home around 12 while Rita went to get her hair done. Spent the afternoon watching teevee, and re-installing windows on my pc!
Work yesterday and this c# console is going very slowly – and makes me feel rather stupid – but we have gotten it about half done and now I am about to work on creating the email to go into it. Spent yesterday evening installing windows on Pop's new pc and watching teevee again!
Weather is crap at the moment – thankfully still in the double figures – but lots of rain and gusty winds which makes the walk from the tube rather unappealing – could be worse – could be in negative figures!
Sleeping is still bleh – ranging from crap to really bad nights – and still doing my exercises – was a bit lax over the weekend (only did about 1 set instead of 3 per day) but back into it and hopefully after this week it will begin to make a difference! *fingers crosses*.
My flowers are just starting to bloom in the office and they are so nice (hope no-one has any allergies) and the roses that I took home and just stunning!
Chris just got back from the US and seems like he had a good time – haven't had any time to talk to him but get the impression he is in good spirits.
Jayson texted me this morning and the hotel internet has been cut – so not sure when he will be online again – but has assured me that he's doing well – which is good otherwise I would be worrying about not seeing him online!
That's about it for the moment – better get stuck into this email and then have some lunch! *yum*

Just recieved some beautiful flowers from Jayson – missing him heaps – they are so beautiful.

okay this non-sleeping thing is just starting to get silly now *yawn* I wish I knew how to make myself sleep for a whole night and not wake upppppppppppppppppppp bbbblllllllaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh *sigh*
Friday morningish and had a nice night out with Sarah and Grant last night – we met up with one of Sarah's old school friends and her boyfriend and trekked around Brick Lane – and I really mean trekked – they wanted to take us to their favourite Indian restaurant – but when we got there (about 25 minutes of walking later) – it was so packed – the line to be seated wound around the whole outside of the restaurant – and as it was already after 8.30 – we voted to move onto another restaurant that Grant and Sarah used to go to – so another 15 minutes of walking later we finally arrive – and got seated near a table of 10 very noisy noisy men – but apart form that and the late service (we didn't start eating till almost 10.30!) it was nice to go out and they were nice ppl to meet!
Got home at around 12 and crashed – but woke up around 6-7 times during the night and am feeling a bit strung out again today.
Didn't really have plans for the weekend – but Rita called yesterday and invited me out on Saturday night with her – which will be really nice – but I have all of £20 (max) to spend until Thursday – she offered to shout me a night out with her – but makes me feel uncomfortable being the charity case all the time – so will ring her tonight and see what she wants to do – other than that I am very happy to stay at home, potter around – and also have to try and get pop's new pc working!
Started an exercise strengthening routine on Wednesday – and so far – pain! But hopefully the good type – using some information on 'Patellofemoral Pain' and the exercises suggested to strengthen the thigh muscle – I have made a list of 10 exercises and 4 stretches that will hopefully help – going to give it a week or two and see how it goes – don't believe it can hurt at all – also want to look at getting a fold away cross trainer that i can pull out from under the bed and do while watching tv in the evenings!
Came up with a good idea christmas present for Jayson – *yay* and am hoping to suggest to him to buy me a guitar – I have been reading about playing and what I need to do to start learning – but without a guitar – it's kinda hard! Plus it is a present that I will put to good use and won't cost alot of money that we don't have!
Also spoke to Jayson on Wednesday and he is going okay – got good results for his second exam too – exchanged emails with him yesterday and he said he wasn't feeling too good – hopefully the dreaded Delhi belly hasn't struck!
Well better get back to finishing some work – then some lunch then some more work – then home to be lazy *yay*

How annoying – the browser window just closed and I lost everything I'd been writing – just goes to show you ppl – *SAVE* obsessively! Arrgg – losing the will to write any more…………….!
So working on a project building a windows console in c# – interesting – getting there *kinda* slowly – but getting there all the same – not feeling as incompetent as normal in front of Dan (well most of the time still but it's getting better)
Had a nice weekend – Friday night was good – it was the three of us from here (Dan, Denis and I) and then the Finspreads group (Kunjal, Jo, Charlene, Karim and Dave joined us for awhile) and I didn't think I had – but I did – drink an awful lot – ended up home by 12 – but woke up with a thumping headache that didn't go away till around 10pm on Saturday! As penance on Saturday I went and met Rita and Tara at Notting Hill and did some fruit shopping and also brought Jayson's mum a birthday present (gotta ring her soon – b'day is today!) and then went home and moved our bedroom around – looks good – looks deceptively like there is more room which is nice.
Sunday I was feeling alot better and just plodded around the house – booted up my computer – to find that it wouldn't boot up and is now not working at all – so gonna have to fix that at some stage – did some work on the TellyCars website which is almost finished and watched a bit of telly – also made a nice curried vegetable smash (chunky soup) and some washing and the day was finished!
Also watched two more episodes of 'Torchwood' which I am finding that I do like them – they are alot darker than Dr Who.
Went over and stayed at Sarah & Grant's last night (Monday) – it was Sarah's birthday on Sunday so was good to catch up. Had a lovely dinner and some wine and not too bad a sleep at all!
Haven't spoken to Jayson since Sunday so was hoping he would be online this avo – but haven't seen him yet – and it's after 5.30 and time to go – so probably won't talk to him till tomorrow – also sent him a few email's he hasn't replied to – guess he is really busy studying – I'm not sure when his next exam was going to be…… *sigh*
Have been feeling a bit rough today – so gonna head home now and have a hot shower – a hot bowl of smash and tuck into bed!
