bleh – friday morning and I’m feeling so totally out of it atm – just getting the morning stuff done and then have to get stuck into an auto email program that needs to be finished asap (as in early today). I’ve been awake since 7 and up since 7.30 so not sure while I’m feeling so crap!

Scared/excited about getting my hair cut tonight – going to have to print out some pics and also cut some out of a few magazines too – will see how it goes – either going to be happy with it – or getting new hats on the weekend!

gosh how nice it was to have 4 days off – feel so spoilt and two 4 day week’s in a row!

So here’s the breakdown of the long weekend!

Friday:
Lazyed around all morning then wore a DRESS and went to Grant and Sarah’s for late lunch at 2.30pm, stuffed our faces with food and drinks then walked to the DLR and went to Greenwich and sat in the pub and had a few more drinks! Headed home about 7pm and then watched ‘Blood Diamond’ which was violent but good (Dress is an important point as it is the first time in about a year I have worne a dress out during the day as it was actually warm enough to enjoy it!)

Saturday:
More lazing around for most of the days – then down to Marc’s place in Kent for a delicious dinner at 8pm – stayed for a few hours then had a nice drive home – could actually see some stars!
Sunday:
Even more lazying around! and then over to Rita’s place about 2.30ish for a BBQ and lots and lots of drinking Pimms and red wine and more drinking and we even had some food! Staggered with Jayson back home around midnight – he was so so so drunk and I was only a little drunk! (I was really pissed around 6pm so by midnight it had worn off alot) and when I finally got him home – he proceeded to sit on my bag and broke my phone! how rude! hehe
Monday:
Spent the whole day in front of the tee vee trying to recover – gotta remember to do the big drinking night on the friday next time so at the end of the weekend we actually feel refreshed – hehe!

So wednesday today and another lovely warm day – I even wore shorts to work today and left my big yucky winter ski jacket at home! looking forward to a warm weekend and more lazing around!

Jayson is also home this week which has been really nice and he should be home next week too – yay!

Getting my hair cut on friday – so excited! *yay*

*YAY* it is the easter long weekend!! 4 days of sleeping and being lazy!!

*yay* summer is definatly on the way – the sky has been blue all day and the sun is beaming down – work is just about to finish for FOUR WHOLE DAYS and my honey is on his way home!

right last night I think I lost about 10 years off my life!

I went to sleep about 10pm – and around midnight there was this huge almighty glass smash noise and I immediatly woke up – heart racing at a million miles an hour trying to figure out what the f**k was going on!

after a few seconds it registered that it was glass hitting floor sound and somewhere in the back of my brain I must have registered that it wasn’t a threatening sound as the first thing I did was get up to see what it was….

which, luckily, happened to be only a bag full of empty wine bottles that were stacked beside the kitchen door and the bag at that very moment, had enough decided it was going to throw it’s contents all over the floor.

I am ashamed to admit now that my first reaction in the milisecond of waking up… was to uselessly clutch my doona to my chest – like it was going to actaully be able to protect me from anything, and I then proceeded to get up and go see what it was without arming myself!
How many times in those stupid scary movies do I sit and shout at the idiot on the screen not to go ‘up the stairs’, ‘into the cupoard/room/direction’ from where the scary noise came from a) without anything to protect themselves and b) anyone to back them up – and what was the first thing I did! *slaps self*
